Oct CCC

Here is my card for the CCC challenge. My card went to Lucille in CO this month which who sent me a card last month. This month I decided to follow the color palette and use the Halloween theme.

I like the colors still the show with what could be a monochromatic card. Here is what I came up with...

The black cardstock and pattern paper are from Recollections. I used a die from MFT for the window and colored the background with distress inks (Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves). The sentiment is from a Halloween collection by Recollections. After I put everything together I decided I didn't want a fully black spider web, so I used my white Wink of Stella glitter over it.

Thanks for stopping by! Have an Awesome day!!!

Sept CCC

Just a quick little post to share my card for this month CCC from Society of Stampoholics. This month I chose to follow along with the theme of Halloween and the sketch provided.

I just used some scraps of my halloween paper stash, added some twine for the banners to "hang" from and attached 3 purple brads that I've had for ages. I'm trying to use more of the items that I've had for a while. Sometimes I do that and think, "Why haven't I used this more often?" I sometimes get caught up with all of the new trends and products I leave the "older" items to collect dust! Anyone else feel they do this as well?!?

Thanks for stopping by!

Aug CCC post

Time to show my card for the CCC . Every month you are given different options (sketches, color combos, and/or themes) to chose from and help inspire your card making ! It's a lot of fun. Make a card and receive on based on the options. I've enjoyed it and haven't missed month since I came across Debs blog (Society of Stampaholics). Here is my card for this month.

I had a hard time to getting a decent picture, unfortunately this was the best of them. I really need to work on being a better photographer. To bad mom isn't closer, she's better at it than I am! (Hint hint Mom) ;-)

Have a great day everyone, thanks for stopping by!

July CCC

Well it just dawned on me that I haven't posted my card yet for the July CCC!!! You can go here and see all the lovely cards that everyone made. This is a real fun challenge to be a part of because you get to send your card (based on the challenge) to someone else on the list and receive on too! If you would like to check it out and maybe join in check here
My card:

I decided to follow the sketch, color combo and fish theme from the challenge options. The colored card stock is from Recollection and the vellum ( front wave) is Martha Stewart, I used the EK success wave border punch on them. The shells and critter are from Lawn Fawn. I colored them in with Copics on Neenah Solar White card stock. Hello was die cut using Lawn Fawn as well, I then covered the letters with clear Wink of Stella and glossy accents.

Thanks for coming by!

June CCC

Well I'm a little behind on posting the card for the June CCC so I will make it short and sweet. Hope every one in the US had fun and safe 4th of July! I know we did. Here is my card for the challenge...
This time around I stuck with only one of the challenge options and worked with plaid, bringing it to my card with ribbon and patterned paper. The  July CCC sign up has started and you have until the 16th if you'd like to join. It's a fun challenge since my card goes to another participant and it's great to receive one in return every month.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
