Coffee lover blog hop- Coffee Anytime

Image may contain: text
Today is the start for the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop! I'm so excited to be playing along with Joy Clair, be sure to stop by the  Joy Clair blog to sweet what my teamies made to play along! For my project I was inspired by bright seasonal colors as well as butterflies and flowers! I decided to create an art journal page in appreciation that I love my coffee anytime! ;-) This could be cute to do again to show all for seasons.

I used distress inks to color the back ground and spritzed with water. I then added some  beans (stamp) and stenciled on the coffee rings. I stamped the cup images on some coordinating pattern paper and fussy cut them. I then colored in the coffee with a copic and added glossy accents over it. I die cut two arrows from vellum to create the hour and minute hands, then glued them to the center.

Hope you get inspired by any of the stops along the blog and play along. The hop always has wonderful sponsors and it's fun to play along! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Coffee Collab Hop!

Image may contain: text

Today we are joy Clair are joining forces with friends at Coffee Loving Cardmakers for a blog hop! Hope you enjoy hopping along to see what everyone is creating for the hop. I ended up making two projects for today using the new set Coffee Talk

The first is this tile...

I did attempt to use my misti for the project in case I needed to stamp the image again. I used a pigment ink and had to be careful to not smear the ink. I've only done this once before so I'm sure there are better tips and tricks, but so far so good.

I think it's cute and plan to make more or try different techniques. I know my parents wouldn't mind getting a set as a gift. ;-) Then I could use me second project to go with it. I used the same images from the Coffee Talk set since they were already out and added a sentiment. I created a background with a die I have in my stash, I thought it was a good addition to the sentiment.

Here is the full list of the hop:

Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment or follow me for blog updates! Have a great day!

Coffee Love tags

Just wanted to pop in and share some coffee themed tags I made for an event I'm attending this weekend! I can't wait for It's Planner Time.

I used distress ink to make a watercolor background to die cut the hearts out of. Die cut some coffee cups to make the tags with and stamped some coffee beans on the bottom. Once the hearts were adhered on the cups I added some twine to finish them. I love the way they turned out!!!

I will link this too Lawn Fawnatics blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
