Kind heart

Here is my second card for the Die Cut Diva's anything goes challenge! Our fantastic sponsors are Kaiesercraft!

For my card I started by embossing the cardstock with the Triangle embossing folder and used some distress inks to add color. I then fussy cut the tag from the Bohemian paper, tied some twine to it and adhered it using foam tape.

Where you go...

Hello all, I feel like it's been forever since I've sat down to write a post!!! We have moved and have been busy unpacking, planing a yard sale and trying to set things up. My craft space is still a work in progress, but I will share a picture of it when it's put together.

Today's card is my first card for this month for the Die Cut Diva's blog (and my first card made in the new crafting area!) Our wonderful sponsor this month is Kaisercraft!!! They are so kind they shared some items with us from the new release and gave us a wonderful prize package for a lucky crafter! Go check out the blog here to see the prize pack and to link up to the challenge.

I started by embossing a piece of the pattern paper and ran some ink over it with a blending tool.  Cut out the part of the paper I wanted for the smaller panel. Using a scrap of the paper I die cut the smaller plain and distressed it as well. Added both panels on the card and popped the plane on with foam adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Cup with flowers...

Hello friends! Moving day for my family and I is almost here, so my post is a short one. I can't wait to have all my supplies in my new crafty area!  My card today is for the Die Cut Diva's and we are using the following photo for inspiration and our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.

This time I decided to use buttons on my card.

I colored my image using colored pencils and some Gamsol to smooth the colors. I added some pattern paper and my colored panel to a cardbase that I embossed. Finished the card off by adding three buttons on one side.

Don't for get to drop by the Diva's blog to play along for your chance to win a $12 GC to the store which is equal to 3 digi images!!!

Mermaid card

Hello all, today's post for...

This month our challenge theme is to use you favorite technique. I went with two that I love which are copic coloring and ink blending.

I printed my image and colored it in with copics before fussy cutting the top part of my image. I then ran it through my cuttlebug with a die to get the stitching on the bottom. Using watercolor paper I used some distress inks to make the blue background, then die cut it with the same die cut. I added a peice of vellum, before adhereing it to the card base. For a little bling I put 3 starfish gems in the lower corner.

Don't forget to come to stop by Open Minded Crafting Fun blog and play along for your chance to win one of the wonderful prizes form our sponsors!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
