Birthday Brew

Just a quick little post to share a card that I just finished this morning. When to boys are away this mom will play... in the craft room all day! ;-) I used Bubble Over stamps, dies and paper from Stampin' Up to created my card.

There are two bottle dies that coordinate with the stamps in the set, but they are  also the same size as the pattern paper. So I die cut two bottle from the pattern paper and die cut the slider label as well. I used the bubble die to emboss a few bubbles on the white layer.  Adhered my layers on the card base and stamped the inside to finish the card.

I will link this card to the following challenges:

St. Patty day Birthday card

I'm back with my second card for today that I will be entering into a few challenges! They will be listed below. It's another St. Pat's theme, but for a birthday this time. I plan to send this to a friend from HS, she and my youngest share a St. Pat's day birthday!

I used a stamp I found while going through my stash and used to create the background. I used a $1 Cupcake stamp (from Michaels) and a sentiment for Hats off to You for my panel. Once it was colored with my Copics I die cut the panel with the Stitched banner die and popped it up with foam tape, then finished it off with some twine.

Linking up too the following challenges...

DCD Halloween Kitty

Hello and Happy Halloween! Can't believe today is the last day of October already, this month has just flown by! Today's is the last day of our moodboard challenge. Thanks Bugaboo, for being our wonderful sponsor for october. Be sure to head over to the blog to see what other DT members have created for you.

I used this adorable halloween kitty image for my card to day. I colored my image with colored pencils and stamped my sentiment. I ran some black cardstock through my sizzix with a spider web embossing folder. Before adhering the stamped panel I added some ribbon to the panel.

I just want to say a little farewell as this is my last post a DT member for the Die Cut Diva's. I was getting a little emotional writing this post, I know it isn't a complete goodbye as I will see my teammates around blog-land and facebook, but this was my first DT experience. ;-)

Creepy

I'm here today with another card for the October moodboard challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's blog. Our wonderful sponsor is Bugaboo.

To start my card I printed the image off and lightly colored the back ground with distress inks. then used some copics to give the images some color. Instead of cutting the image I tore the edges for a distressed look and added more distress ink around the edges.

I ran my pattern paper through my the machine with a die from Tim Holtz and backed with some cardstock before adhering it to the cardbase. Then I adhered the image panel and my die cut letters. For some finishing touches I added some black enamel dots and wink of stella for a touch of sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and have great day!

Scary Cat

Today's is my day to post for the Die Cut Diva's. This month we are hoping you are inspired by the mood board we created  for October. Our sponsor is Bugaboo

This is my first card for our challenge, which started with printing 3 of the same image to fit on the front of my card. Once they were printed I used my copics to color the background of the images. I then trimmed the panel rounding two corners and did the same with the pattern paper I matted it on.

For the background I used some distress inks to color the pattern paper so it matched the cat circles. Once it was colored I adhered it to the card base and then popped the smaller panel on using foam adhesive. My word is left overs from a background die that I used last year, glad I saved them they are coming in handy. ;-) After everything was adhered I added some glow to the cats eyes using Nuvo dots.

DCD- little fox

Today's card is my last card for our masculine challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's. Our wonderful sponsor for September is Dies R Us.

I couldn't wait to use this cute fox from Waffle Flower, I immediately visioned him playing with the pumpkin on his back. After stamping him I added some shadow with copics before die cutting the image and layering with pattern paper. I popped the die cut frame up with foam tape and added the panel to the card base.

DCD- Camper

Popping in with a post for the Die Cut Diva's and our Masculine Challenge.I mad this card for both of my parents as a thank you. They hosted some of our cub scouts for a camp out and we were able to watch the meteor shower, back in Aug. We've dub their property Camp Caldwell, it was a great weekend!

I used a die cut rectangle as my panel and added some distress inks to the background for my ground and sky. I stamped and die cut both the bear and lantern from kraft cardstock, then used copics to color them. The bears shirt and tent were stamped on a pattern paper and fussy cut. I stamped the tent directly on my background and then adhered the plaid tent directly on top.

I added my panel to the card base and used pop dots to adhere the lantern and bear. Once they were in place I decided to hand draw a little sign for Camp Caldwell. Mom and dad seemed to both like the card. Hope you all will too.

DCD- Ship in a bottle

Today's card is my first card for the Die Cut Diva's September challenge. Our theme this month is masculine and our wonderful sponsor is Dies R Us. My card is going to be used as a birthday card, both my hubby and father in law have birthdays this month. I now need to work on card number 2!

I started my card by stamping the jar and the images inside. Before I die cut the jar I colored my little jar scene using Copic markers. I used a sketch to put my card together and picked some nautical themed papers I had in my stash to put the card together.

DCD- Woodland Pals scene

Here is my last card for August and my third card using the same woodland pals set from Elizabeth Crafts!  Who has been a wonderful sponsor!

I had previously stamped, colored and die cut my images, so it was easy to grab the ones I wanted to use for my scene. I started by added color to my background using distress inks. Then adhered my images in place to create the scene. Having the images done before had made it quite easy to finish the card!

DCD- Woodland Shaker

Hello all! Today's card is a shaker card for the Die Cut Diva's blog. It's my second card in my little series of 3 cards 1 set. I'm using the adorable Woodland Pals set from our sponsor Elizabeth Craft!

When I got my set I stamped multiple images on some scrap cardstock. Decided to color them all before die cutting. Made my planning a little easier for my cards. Since I had colored and cut a lot of extra little bits I thought they would be cute in a shaker.

DCD- Foxy

Here is my first card for the Anything goes challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's challenge blog. This month our sponsor is Elizabeth Craft Designs.

ElizabethCraftDesigns.com

I have the Woodland Pals stamps and dies that I will be using this month. So you will see 3 cards with 1 set from me, kind of like a little mini series!

I had a scarp piece of water color paper, previously colored, sitting on my desk. I thought it would be a perfect background and keep my card clean and simple. So I trimmed it down to the size I wanted and stamped my background. Then I adhered it to my card base. The adorable little fox was stamped and then die cut, before adhering him with foam tape.

Snowglobe Christmas

Today is the last day for the Christmas in July challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's blog! I used some Tim Holtz designed items that I have, some sadly hadn't been used yet.

I started by distressing some watercolor paper in brown tones for the snowglobe stand and blues for the globe itself, then I die cut them. Thinking it would be nice to have a little more dimension for the base ( since the houses would be layered up) I cut out 3 more layers.

I added some snowflakes in the back ground and used white satin pearl embossing powder for a subtle look.

I was thinking of adding color to the houses, but liked the look of the white houses and trees against the blue sky.

DCD- Christmas chandelier

Hello all, here is my first card for the Christmas in July challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's blog. Our sponsor this month is the Frantic stamper, who is generously donating the die below!

I used a mix of Hero Arts (linked below) for my first card this month.

I started by taping the sides of my card to mask them. Then stamped the script background, the distressed strip for the ground and the sentiment. The tree then is stamped and embossed with pearl finish embossing powder. The chair and chandelier were both stamped and then die cut on a scratch piece of paper, before being added with foam tape. To finish the card I added some bling to the elements.

Below is a closer look at the bling and the embossing powder.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

DCD- hello, summer...

Here is my last card for our Summer theme challenge over at DieCut Diva's. We are thankful for our wonderful sponsor Bugaboo stamps!

I colored the image with copics and used a die to cut the panel on one side. I trimmed the panel down so that it would "centered" on three sides. Wrote my sentiment and wrapped twine around the panel, before adhering it to some kids foam. I wanted it to pop off the cardbase a little.

Today's post is a post for the Die Cut Diva's challenge blog where we have a summer theme currently! I can't believe today is the first official day of summer! I thought the Fired Chicken image from Bugaboo was perfect!

I used markers to color in the image. I die cut the panel before adhering it to the base. I think die cut my sentiment, then colored it black with a black glitter marker. To finish off the card I added some clear glitter to the sun glasses for more sparkle and some Nuvo dots on the chair.

DCD- happy for you

Here is my last card for the Die Cut Diva's May challenge. A huge thanks goes to Jane's Doodles for being an awesome sponsor this month.

I stamped and embossed my flowers with gold, before using some real brush markers and a glitter pen to color them in. I layered my panel on my cardbase and finished it by adding the die cut sentiment.

I tried to get a better look at the sparkle...
