Here is my card for this months card exchange for the CCC. This will be a very short and sweet post since I'm a little late at getting it ready. I've been super busy around here and hoping it slows a bit now

I used  the color, winter and a loose interpretation of the sketch for my card!

Sept CCC

Stopping in today with my card for the Sept CCC. For this month I followed the color theme,

and the sketch

My card...
I started with stamping the feathers and then colored them with my copics. Before die cutting I stamped the friend sentiment so it would be just below the sentiment. I layered a few of the die cuts together to add some deminsion. I layered my stamped panel onto a card base and then added some stickles to the die cut.

Here is a little close up to see the sparkle...

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!!

Aug CCC

I'm here today to share my card for the Aug CCC. I can't believe it is the first of September already, but I do love September! It's my birthday month and my hubby's too!!! :-)
For this months card I used the color combo

and the sketch

My card...

I used some copy paper as my mask to add the "rays" of color. For the gray piece I used some ink to color a scrap of paper. Once it was covered I used some perfect to make it look metallic and ran it throw with an embossing folder. Die cut the hello and then adhered all the parts together.

This little picture is the ATC I made to go with the card. I decided I would make these to add to the cards. I'd never made one before and thought they looked like fun to do.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

July CCC card

Just poppin' in with my card for the July CCC. For this month I chose to go for three of the options, I used flags, spray ink and the color combo.

This is my card...

I started off by stamping and masking in the following order... banner, balloon and clouds. While the images were still masked I sprayed my background. After the spray was dry I started coloring my images adding strips and dots with pens for added designs. I then stamped my sentiment and added the panel to the card base.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

April CCC

A little post this morning to share my card for the April CCC
I used the colors,
and the sketch just flipped it,

and friendship...

I used distress inks to watercolor the background. Stamped the images (Close to my Heart) and then embossed them with charcoal gray powder. The sentiment is stamped on velum and embossed with the same powder. I added a few sequins to finish it off.

I am also adding the card to the Curtain Call challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day...

March CCC

Stopping in to post my card for the CCC blog this month. I played along using the color
and sketch options

If want to join us for Aprils challenge you can here, there are only a few days left.

I used distress ink to color the area on the base so it could peek through. Used the same colors on a scrap so that I could die cut the Hello. Used a die cut to split the panel. The bottom portion is adhered directly to the base, while I attached the top with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Feb CCC

Here is my post for the monthly card exchange over at Society for Stampoholics. Although to look at now looks like I did a card for the March themes! To bad I didn't make two, I'd be a step ahead. ;-) When I chose the stamp I wanted to use spring colors with it and the colors didn't vibe with me for this card fro some reason. I wanted to use my distress inks since I've been enjoying them a lot lately.

I work on a loose translation of the sketch and slipped it then used the friend theme for the challenge options. I heat embossed my background image on watercolor paper and then only the butterfly area again on vellum. Dipped my paper in the watered down distress inks until I got the look I want and dried it..Fussy cut the butterfly for some dimension, added my sentiment strip and some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
