DCD- Christmas chandelier



Hello all, here is my first card for the Christmas in July challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's blog. Our sponsor this month is the Frantic stamper, who is generously donating the die below!



I used a mix of Hero Arts (linked below) for my first card this month.

I started by taping the sides of my card to mask them. Then stamped the script background, the distressed strip for the ground and the sentiment. The tree then is stamped and embossed with pearl finish embossing powder. The chair and chandelier were both stamped and then die cut on a scratch piece of paper, before being added with foam tape. To finish the card I added some bling to the elements.

    Awesome card, Monica! Love how you have combined different sets to create your little scene. Neat way to incorporate Vintage Christmas Post, too. I have that particular set, and haven't done much with it. Maybe I need to take it back out & play some more. Thanks for the inspiration! :) ~ Andrea

    Great combination of graphic tree and realistic chandelier and chair! Love the shine on that tree too!!
