ATSM #341- Anything Goes

Hello everyone! Here is a card I made for Mother's Day which was celebrated Sunday in the States. I used the newer dino set from Lawn Fawn called Rawrsome. Love the adorable dinos  and sentiments in this set!

I stamped the volcano and hearts directly on the cardbase, while the dinos we stamped on a scrap piece of paper and then fussy cut. To add color to the images I just used copics and outlined the images. Love the subtle look of color it gives the images. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock and embossed with white and cut them out to look like labels. I adhered the labels directly to the base and the dinos are popped up with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

For my card today I used a Hero Arts set with the adorable cactus critters. I couldn't help myself I just had to make a card with this adorable kitty! I stamped and colored my image then added the sentiment below. Then just layered a few cardstock panels and called it done.

ATSM #329- CAS

Today is I have a Clean and simple card to share with  you for Addicted to Stamps and More! Be sure to stop by the blog to see the other designers inspiration and to play along!

I used a succulent stamp from Hero arts as well as a sentiment to create simple card. I just love a pop of color on a mostly white card! I stamped my image and used the coordinating die to cut it out of my panel. Then I trimmed down the panel so that it wasn't as wide as the image and adhered it to the cardbase. I stamped my sentiment and popped my colored image in place with foam tape for added dimension.

I'm also adding this to CAS Mix It Up challenge

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

ATSM #325- photo inspiration

Hello all I'm dropping in with a card for Addicted to Stamps and more challenge #325. We have a photo inspiration shown below for this challenge!

I was inspired by the the colors and the mail, so I created my own postage to put on the card. I also was happy to use a stamp set that has been sitting in my stash unused! I know its a shame, but I have so many! Hoping to narrow that number down a bit this year. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

ATSM #321- Anything Goes

It's time for anything goes with Addicted to stamps and more! Here is my card for the challenge.

I saw sketch online and used that as my starting point for my card. I found some pattern paper that I thought would work well with Tea Time stamp set from Joy Clair I wanted to use. I started to leave the background plain, but felt that it needed a little something. So I used an embossing folder that reminded me of steam from a hot cup of tea or coffee.

Thanks for stopping by hope you have a great day!

ATSM #315- photo inspiration

Today I have a post for Addicted to Stamps and More and its time for our Photo Inspired Challenge.

I mostly chose the colors as a starting point for my inspired card. I like the look of yellow black and white together. I made a Halloween theme since I'm in the mood for it and its only a week away!

Here is a closer look at my glittered house and the dimension of the layered die cuts that I stacked slightly of center.

ATSM #313- holiday

Here is my card for the Holiday challenge from Addicted to Stamps and more!

I used a new Christmas stamp and die from Stampin' Up. I loved the image of the house and can see it being colored fully or partially like I did. I wanted to keep it simple so added some red to the ribbons and colored the greenery. I used some stickles to the lights for a little sparkle.

ATSM #311- Anything goes

Today's card is for Addicted to Stamps and More Anything Goes challenge. I used a Stampin' Up set from the new holiday Catalog. I love the texture that you get with this set and I think it can be used all year with different colors to fit the seasons. Used a framelit to create an embossed frame around the stamped image. I wanted to add a little something with out distracting to much from the image itself.

ATSM #309- CAS

Here is my card for Addicted Stamps and More's Clean and Simple challenge.

I used colored cardstock with a stamped image and sentiment. To color the image I used bleach to remove the color of the cardstock for a slightly ghosted look of color. Adhered to my card base and added some adhesive pearls to dress it up a bit. It's such a simple card and love how the bleached areas can vary, and the different looks we get depending on the colored cardstock.

ATSM #307 Make your mark

Here is my card for Make your Mark challenge with Addicted to Stamps and more...

,
I kept it fairly simple and only colored the cauldron with the sentiment using a mix of copics and Stampin' Blends. I love the paper and wanted to use on the card, I think it's so much fun to create Halloween cards even though I don't send a lot out they are one of my favorites to make!

ASTM #303 Holiday

Today's card is a Holiday card for Addicted to Stamps and More's holiday theme challenge. To see what the rest of the DT has came up with this time check out the blog here!

The card was simple I knew I wanted to use some Catherine Pooler's Foundation Box (Retired, but I'll link what I can), but wasn't sure how I wanted to pull it together. I found a sketch I liked and rolled with it. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Love it when I start getting my Holiday cards going early!

ATSM #301- anything goes

Today's card is for the ATSM challenge and uses a new set from Stampin' Up. I got the bundle called Sea of Textures, it comes with both the stamp and coordinating dies. I had to have that octopus!!! ;-)

The front of the card is only half, because I wanted the octopus to hover over the inside, where I have the smaller fish die cut to show the cardstock color.

ATSM #299- CAS

Today's card is for Addicted to Stamps and More, we are working on Clean and Simple. My card is a little more busy than my usual clean and simple, but I included it for this challenge since it was pretty simple to make. I used my MISTI to stamp everything, except for the image (it's a wood stamp). I made 10 of these... you can see some of the others peeking out from the bottom of the top card.  They are a going away gift for my folks who are moving back to Texas, I thought they could use them to send their new address. Before adhering the panels to the cardbase, I added some color with Copics keeping the coloring simple.

Today is the start of the ATSM Clean and Simple challenge. For today's card I used a new set from Stampin' Up that will be available in the new 2018-2019 book. I just adore the octopus and the texture I got from using the fish net die as an embossing folder.

ATSM #292- make your mark 5/12

I was looking through my stamps for a project the other day and came a across the set with these cute little guys. While looking at it I realized I've never used it! I know it's a shame, but I have a few sets that are like that. They've been sitting in my stash because I had to have them, but haven't gotten around to using them. I know I'm not the only one. ;-)

Well since they were in my hand, I thought no time like the present to put them to use. I know it's not even summer yet and I made a halloween card... (even my youngest asked why), but when an idea strikes you go with it!

Using a die from MFT I measured where my images should go before stamping them. Colored the images and their backgrounds with copics. For the sentiment window I decided to add coordinating colors by stamping smaller sentiments in the colors of the squares above.

Finished the card by add hearing the panel to the cardbase and adding stitching to the window borders.

ATSM #290- Your Kindness

It's the start of another challenge over at ATSM and it's a photo inspiration! Love the chic look of the photo with it's colors and textures on the frames.

I chose the color theme to use for my card and wanted to add the texture from the frames. I started by stamping the images on the some light green cardstock. Since I used a layering stamp set on the cardstock, I started the first layer of stamping with some white pigment ink. Then layered the other colors on top and used the matching dies to cut them out.

I ran the white panel through my die cutting machine with an embossing folder. I realized after I embossed that I had forgotten to stamp my sentiment and the little flowers first... Doh! So I used my MISTI to carefully stamp the sentiment and flowers. Which worked out great since I knew I'd have to stamp it a few times because of the embossed texture. There were a few spots in the sentiment that I couldn't get to stamp correctly, so I used a micron pen to color those areas better. I glued the stems of the leaves directly to the card panel under the carnation popping the leaf tips up with a pop dot and adhered the carnation with foam adhesive as well to finish the card!

Just love the look with the dimension and texture!
