Mini Jar Card

Hello everyone, I'm here today with the last post for the Die Cut Divas Shape challenge. Wanted to thank our great sponsors...

and

My last shaped card for the month..
I started out by stamping the jar and the pumpkins. I then die cut both jar shapes before I colored the images. The sentiment was stamped on vellum and fussy cut before being adhered onto the jar. It doesn't make for a big card, but a great mini card perfect to be added to a little thank you gift!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

HMFMC- all white

Hello everyone I'm here with my last card as a guest designer with HMFMC! Maybe someday I'll get the honor again. In the mean time the challenge is all white. You may color your image, but that is the only color allowed.

I love the mouse in the cup I think he's so adorable. I layered white and some vellum for my layers, die cutting the corner of one layer for some texture on the card. I kept the coloring very light so it would distract form the white theme of the challenge very much.

Here is a closer look of the corner with  the die cutting, this was the first time I've used it! :-)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!!

Happy Halloween (Fusion challenge)

Stopping in with a card for the Fusion Card Challenge.

I decided to make my card based on using the photo for my inspiration...

I used a few papers from previous years paper pads and die cut doily that I picked from work (Michaels) and a halloween set from Close to my Heart that I hadn't used before.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Today's card...

I started by printing off the image and then cut it using a die. I then colored it with copics. I die cut another oval  for the back of the card and scored it about quarter of an inch from the top. Adhered the ovals together and add just a tad of stickles to the center of the flowers.

Clearly Christmas

I'm dropping in with a quick card I made for the Shopping our stash challenge blog and just in time too! I'm just excited I didn't miss it yet again. ;-)

I started  by stamping the image on some acetate with staz on ink. Then I used some glossy accents to adhere glitter in a few spots. While that dried I used some distress inks to color my background of the oval cut out area.

Once everything was dry I adhered the acetate to the front panel and popped the whole thing on the card base with foam adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Haunting.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made will looking at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge blog. They have an awesome fall/ Halloween mood board and color combo for inspiration!

I had a hard time choosing, but ended up using the bottom left image as the inspiration for my card.

I masked off the moon area and distressed the background. Stamped the tree, fence and bats on the background. On a scrap piece of card stock I stamped and colored the haunted house, then fussy cut it before adding it to the background. I then heat embossed the sentiment in silver to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by and a spooktacular day!!!

Nuts about you

Hello all stopping in with a card for a2z scrapbooking All things fall challenge. Hope you'll join us in the challenge this month for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store.

I started my card by layering on some distress ink over the stencil, then added the blue for the sky after removing the stencil. Keeping it the lightest around the moon area.

I did put some grey on the moon for a little dimension and stamped some acorns onto the tree branches.

I colored and fussy cut the squirrel, heat embossed the sentiment and added some glossy accents to the moon and eyes. Adhered the panel to the card base and popped the squirrel with some foam tape.

I hope you will get a chance to join our Challenge this month.  Remember: (Hero Arts Products Required)  This challenge runs though the end the month.   You have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.

HMFMC (#205)

My first card for today is my card for the HMFMC. The theme is "In the Pink" and you are to use predominately pink on the card. Which is a challenge for me, since pink is a color I rarely use.

I stamped my image and colored with copics, sticking mostly pink with a little bit of gray for the mice friends. The cardbase is a premade base from Michael's that I layered with some pattern paper and a doily. I added my colored panel to the top and to finish it I decided to add an awareness ribbon die cut and a button.

I think it turned out pretty cute even if it is pink!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!!!

Argyle Boo

Dropping in with a quick post for the Lawnscaping challenge

Here is the card I made with the challenge in mind...

I die cut the letter using some post it so they would stick to the card base. Once they were down I started stamping my design. I peeled the letters off and felt they needed a little help standing out from the stamping, so I took a black pen and traced the edges.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

My first card for this month...
I started off printing off the image and coloring it in with my copics. I went with purples and teals since her dress reminded me of a peacock. I die cut the panel and card base, then ran the top card base through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder. Before adhereing the panel to the card I ran a white ink over the embossing.

Batcave!!!

Hello all dropping by with a card for Halloween. I will add this card to the challenges over at Curtain Call and  Simon Says Stamp.

Here is my card...
I used the batcave die to cut the shape and 3 bats from the black cardstock. I colored the background using distress inks then cut out more bats, so the black cardbase would show through. I attached the batcave panel with some dimensional squares and did the same with the 3 bats.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello all, here is my post today to start the October challenge over at a2z scrapbooking! Go here to see the whole post and details about the challenge.

I started the card by embossing the panel and the stamped the sentiment and  images. I used ombre inks for various shades. I added a little bit of stickles for some bling and put a bit of twine on top and below the embossed area. I felt it was to plain with out it.

I hope you will get a chance to join our Challenge this month.  Remember: (Hero Arts Products Required)  This challenge runs though the end the month.   You have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.

Sept CCC

Stopping in today with my card for the Sept CCC. For this month I followed the color theme,

and the sketch

My card...
I started with stamping the feathers and then colored them with my copics. Before die cutting I stamped the friend sentiment so it would be just below the sentiment. I layered a few of the die cuts together to add some deminsion. I layered my stamped panel onto a card base and then added some stickles to the die cut.

Here is a little close up to see the sparkle...

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!!
