Joy clair- Chain breaker

Today over on the Joy Clair blog I'm sharing my first ever Bible Journaling page. Which I have some things to learn, but you have to start somewhere! Today I'm sharing the new set Chain Breaker.

I kept it pretty simple, but still had fun working on it. Details are below.

  1. Stamped images and sentiment from Chain Breaker using VersaFine ink
  2. Colored in the chains with Perfect Pearls
  3. Wrote out the verse around the edges of the chain using an Illustrated Faith pen

ATSM - #276 anything goes

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Anything Goes challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More. I used a Stampin' up mini kit I received from Julie, to make an eclipse card. Love the impact you get with this style and it's so easy to do.

In the mini kit I received the letters and cardstock were pre-cut, so all I had to do was pick a stamp set and grab coordinating inks. To stamp the main panel I temporarily adhered the panel and letters to a piece of scrap paper. After stamping, I adhered the the white layer to the purple and tied some twine around it before adding the layers to the cardbase. I adhered the letters last using dimensionals and making sure they were slightly of center, so the layer peeks through just a bit.

Joy Clair blog hop- New baby

Today the new release from Joy Clair is out and I am here to share the new set called New Baby. This set is so cute (I love the onsie) and came at a great time! There a few ladies I know expecting in a few months, so this set will get used!

I started by trimming down some cardstock to fit my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base. Using my score board I scored lines at a diagonal an inch apart. Turned the panel and repeat the scoring to create a blanket look. After the scoring was done I stamped the hearts in the diamonds and adhered the panel to the card base.

For the onsie I stamped it on some pattern paper, used some copics to darken some areas for depth and fussy cut the image. I then stamped my sentiment on scrap cardstock and trimmed it down, before layering it with a scrap of the pattern paper.

I used foam tape to adhere the onsie and sentiment strip to the front of the card. Stamped some more hearts and another sentiment to inside the card before calling it done. Then I made a coordinating envelope by stamping the onsie on the front.

I'm so excited to be apart of the blog hop and team! Make sure to check out what my teammates have made to share the release with you! Here is another look at the set New Baby...

ATSM- #274 You're so charming

More exciting news from me today... I'm now apart of the Addicted to Stamps and More DT!!! I always have loved a good challenge to help jump start my inspiration. Today we are challenging you to create a clean and simple project, one of my favorite styles! Stop by the Challenge blog to see more inspiration and play along with the challenge!

For my first card used this adorable dragon and matching die ( that my hubby bought me for Christmas). I stamped the image on a scrap piece of cardstock and did a second generation stamp on the cardbase, before cleaning the stamp off and stamped the sentiment. Then I used some distress inks on the card base to add color over the stamped image.

After I die cut my dragon and added coordinating color using copics I popped him on the card using foam adhesive.
Don't for get to check out everyones card for our CAS challenge this week and play along!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
