ATSM #329- CAS

Today is I have a Clean and simple card to share with  you for Addicted to Stamps and More! Be sure to stop by the blog to see the other designers inspiration and to play along!

I used a succulent stamp from Hero arts as well as a sentiment to create simple card. I just love a pop of color on a mostly white card! I stamped my image and used the coordinating die to cut it out of my panel. Then I trimmed down the panel so that it wasn't as wide as the image and adhered it to the cardbase. I stamped my sentiment and popped my colored image in place with foam tape for added dimension.

I'm also adding this to CAS Mix It Up challenge

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Chalk couture projects

So I've started a new adventure recently with a company called Chalk Courture! I shared my first project with the Merry Little Christmas challenge here. I'm loving the product as they make decorating so easy and fun! I'm going to share a few images of some more of the projects I've done since I've started!

The transfer used in this picture was part of a kit,a friend had a party where those that attended used the kit and got to try Chalk Couture for the first time. The kit used a little hexagon shaped board as a designer I didn't get the board, so I used an adorable heart shaped board from Target.

This Aiden board is one that I got in my starter kit, it's reusable and magnetic! How about that truck? I absolutely adore it! Its the vintage truck transfer and has 4 add on transfers to coordinate with the seasons. For this one I used theSpring add on, it has items to help add decor to make the truck springy!

My last sample for today is a wooden surface that I picked up from Tuesday Morning and I used the Ardently admire and love transfer with it.

A few important things I would like to point out...
1. The transfers are reusable 8-12 times
2. The medium- Chalk Paste can be used on and cleaned off of nonporous surfaces
3. The medium- Couture ink can used and needs to be heat set to become permanent

I used the paste on the projects I shared today, but have used ink as well. I will share those another day. I have some live videos and more projects on Facebook if you're interested, you can find me @Chalkymonkey on facebook! I also have my Chalk Couture Pinterest board or you can see my first and so far only vid on YouTube, hoping to get more done and better with them as time goes by! ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

SID Feb sketch- Hello

Hello everyone! Can't believe we are over halfway through Feb already! Here in IL we've had some crazy variances in our weather... almost like it's spring time, but colder. For example... valentines day was a sunny and low 50's, the next day was cloudy and 20. Don't get me work I love winter for the snow, but if there isn't snow around there is no reason for the frigid temps! ;-) So with that in mind I decided to take the sketch and give my card a warmer spring time feel.

I masked off a ray shape and stamped multiple floral images inside. Removed the tape and then stamped my large sentiment in black ink. I felt I needed a little more detail on the edges so I took a pen and added dash lines along the stamped area.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me today. I look forward to seeing your projects on the Stick It Down blog

Joy Clair Mardi Gras hop

Today we are showcasing some Mardi Gras projects over a Joy Clair! Everyone made anything but a card, be sure to stop by and check out the fun projects! I used the set Unashamed to create a fun little banner using the mask images.

I stamped and colored the images before fussy cutting them, since there was only 5 it didn't take long. I then tied them together and hung them between to shish kabob sticks. They would be super cute in a bigger flower pot or on top of a cake for decoration!

BLOG HOP LIST:

Have fun hopping along and have a great day!
