Warm Wishes

Here is my last post for Die Cut Diva's November warm and Cozy Challenge.

I started off by stamping and coloring my images then die cut them. I adhered them to a strip of brown cardstock that was attached to my card base. Added a stripe of washi tape were the two colors meet. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on a die cut piece of pattern paper, adding a border with some smaller images from the stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Peace

Today I have a quick card to share with you today for the a2z challenge blog.

I started by stamping my image on cardstock then trimmed it down. I added some gold foiled vellum to layer it with on top of the panel. Before adhering my labels I stamped the sentiment in gold ink, when I noticed it wasn't very noticeable I added some gold perfect pearls over it. I also added some perfect pearl to the deer and wink of stella to the snowy areas in the image. It is a Christmas card and should have some sparkle after all!
Here is a closer look at the sparkle...

Keep Cozy

Today's card is for our challenge over at Die Cut Diva's and it uses an argyle patter on it. What's more warm and cozy than a warm sweater?!  I love the stamp set I used to day it's great for backgounds any time of the year. I am also linking this to the Lawnscaping Challenge

I started off by stamping the stitched diamonds in dark gray and then the diamond patterns in two shades of blue. I added the die cut stitching above, below and in the middle of my stamping. Heat embossed my sentiment and a wood veneer snowflake in silver, then decided I wanted my stitching to be silver too. I layered my panel onto navy card stock. I finished it off by adhering a stitched snowflake with the embossed snowflake to the card.

Here is a closer look...

Thanks for stopping by, we can't wait to see all your warm and cozy creations!

Christmas Greetings

I'm stopping by blog land today to share a card that I made to play with The Challenge, for my first time! I really liked the color combination they used for the inspiration image. I've wanted to play along with one of their challenges before, but would run out of time.

It just so happened that I had all the pieces from other projects still laying on my desk that would work together perfectly for this challenge. I just played a little with my layout and had to find the perfect sentiment to fit.

Once I got my layout figured out I heat embossed my sentiment and then adhered my layers. I added a silver embossed wood veneer snowflake to the center of the die cut snowflake to add more silver.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Warm Wishes

I'm here today with a card for the Die Cut Divas blog. This month our challenge theme is warm and cozy. Our wonderful sponsor this month is DiesRus!

For my card I thought how fun would it be to have a sandcastle made of snow.

I stamped my images on a die cut oval and then colored them, adding a little yellow in the windows for warmth. Stamped some snowflakes in the background. To give it more of a snowy look I used dry distress stickles.

Here are some closer looks at the snowy glitter.

I think the sandcastle warms up the snowy scene!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

One Layer Christmas

Hello everyone! It's the first of the month and the means it's time for a new challenge over at a2z scrapbooking! For the month of November our challenge is One Layer Holiday. Here is my card for the challenge...

I started by stamping in a white pigment ink. Then using the same stamps I stamped them in color using dye inks, just slightly off set from the white images. I added a little sparkle by going over the sentiment using a white Wink of Stella.

I tried to take a closer picture, hoping to show the shimmer.

I hope you will get a chance to join our Challenge this month.  Remember: (Hero Arts Products Required)  This challenge runs though the end the month.   You have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.
