ATSM #325- photo inspiration

Hello all I'm dropping in with a card for Addicted to Stamps and more challenge #325. We have a photo inspiration shown below for this challenge!

I was inspired by the the colors and the mail, so I created my own postage to put on the card. I also was happy to use a stamp set that has been sitting in my stash unused! I know its a shame, but I have so many! Hoping to narrow that number down a bit this year. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

SID Jan sketch

Time for the card team to share our cards we made with the January Stick It Down Sketch!

Here is my take on the sketch using some products from Stampin' Up. I just the stamp set! I used smaller elements (the same that are used on the main panel) to create the patterns on the background.

Finished it off with a little sparkly bow!

Thanks for stopping by. Visit the Stick it Down blog to see the other cards and to play along. There are always 3 sketches, so if you like to scarpbook there is a single and double page sketch too! Have a great day!!!

When I rise with Joy Clair

I've got a lot of Joy Clair posts this week, but this the last one... for this week anyway! ;-) Today I'm using the new set Rise and Shine. Instead of making a card I decided to decorate a little scene for a little shadow box frame! Be sure to visit the Joy Clair blog here for all the details!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Happy St Pat Birthday with Joy Clair

No photo description available.
It's another blog hop day! Today I'm using Lucky Charm! I adore this set and so does my youngest who's birthday is St. Patrick's Day.

I started by stamping the clovers in green ink to create a background. I then stamped the leprechaun and sentiment on a pre cut layer, then colored him with copics. Once the coloring was done I layered the panel on a piece of gold foil paper from my stash and then popped the layers on the card base with foam tape.

I then stamped the inside of the card and added my lucky charm to the inside since it's for my little guys birthday! I think he'll love it!

Here are the links for todays designers inspiration:
We are picking one winner for each day of the release – a total of four lucky commenters!
Happy stamping!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the HOP!

Rejoice and Blossom with Joy Clair- Art Journal page

No photo description available.

Here is my first project ( an art journal page) with Joy Clair's first release of 2019! I'm so excited to be a part of the team for another term and I just love this set, Blossom! The sentiments are great and I was probably just a little too excited about finally having a set with Cacti in my stash... finally! ;-) You can see all the stamps here.

I started by added color to the page to create my scene.

I then stamped the cacti on a peice of green cork paper I've had in my stash.

I then also stamped my sentiments and cacti on the background where they would go. So I didn't have to worry about the trying to not cut the needles off, when I fussy cut them.

I decided I didn't like how flat the cacti looked, so I used some copics to add a little shading to them (as you can see the in the picture with and without shading).

To finish the project I just added my page to my little journal and dated the bottom corner!

ATSM #323- Holiday

Here is a holiday themed card Addicted to Stamps holiday Challenge! I'm sure some people don't want to see Christmas anything for awhile, but it's always nice to have head start for this Christmas! I kept the card pretty simple keeping my image and coloring in the center and only doing a few colors. I stamped the gingerbread house, stamped the decorations and then colored everything.

I did add some stickles to the candies for some sparkle!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Merry Little Christmas January Challenge

Hello all it's a new year and time for a new challenge month at Merry Little Christmas Challenge blog. The theme as always is Anything Goes and this month I decided do a little something different.

This may not be exactly Christmas but for me snowflakes are always a part of my Christmas decor! I recently started Chalk Couture and couldn't wait to make this snowflake shadow box to decorate my craft room with.

To create it I took out the inside glass and chalked a teal snowflake. Once it was dry I put it back in the frame and chalked a smaller white snowflake on the outside!

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Happy New Year!
