ATSM #311- Anything goes

Today's card is for Addicted to Stamps and More Anything Goes challenge. I used a Stampin' Up set from the new holiday Catalog. I love the texture that you get with this set and I think it can be used all year with different colors to fit the seasons. Used a framelit to create an embossed frame around the stamped image. I wanted to add a little something with out distracting to much from the image itself.

Stick It Down- Sept sketch!

Here is Stick it Downs card sketch for September!

I decided to do a one layer card and try to keep the sketch. So I used two different colors...

The colors ended up being a little closer in tone than I intended, but I still liked the idea so I just went with it. I used a large background stamp to stamp half in blue and the other half in green. Then with the sentiment I did he same thing flipping which color went on the two halves of the stamp. Once the Sentiment was stamped, I then heat embossed it with clear powder and added some geometric shapes for a little more design.

You can see the variation in color a little better in the close up. Don't forget to stop by the SID blog and play along with the sketches. If cards aren't your thing there are two scrapbooking sketches to play with as well! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

ATSM #309- CAS

Here is my card for Addicted Stamps and More's Clean and Simple challenge.

I used colored cardstock with a stamped image and sentiment. To color the image I used bleach to remove the color of the cardstock for a slightly ghosted look of color. Adhered to my card base and added some adhesive pearls to dress it up a bit. It's such a simple card and love how the bleached areas can vary, and the different looks we get depending on the colored cardstock.

Be kind with Joy Clair

I have  two posts today... this post is for Joy Clair's September challenge you can visit the Joy Clair blog here and see how my fellow teammies were inspired. If you would like to see the post for Merry Little Christmas challenge you can click HERE.

Love the theme and coloring in the inspiration photo!

I started this card by taking images from Blessed Harvest to create a border for the cardstock strip that I will add. Before the cardstock strip gets adhered I ran my panel through my Big Kick with wood grain background die cut from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Deer Friends in white on vellum. I die cut it with a circle die and adhered it to the panel. I had a die cut wreath near my desk and added it to the gray strip around the sentiment circle, then popped the strip up with foam adhesive.

Today is a post for the Merry Little Christmas challenge blog. As always the challenge theme is anything goes, so you can create and use what ever your crafty heart desires as long as its Christmas! If you want to see my post for Joy Clair's September challenge click HERE.

For my card I used a new set from Stampin' Up that will be available starting on the 5th! I adore the easily layered look of the set with just one stamp and that bow... swoon! I added some sticky pearls to the wreath to finish the card.
