DCD- Rainbow Unicorn

Here is my last card for the no sentiment challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's. Check out the post here to see the others cards for this month. 

I colored the image with colored pencils and then fussy cut it. I distressed the background slightly for the sky and die cut the clouds. For the rainbow I used some circle dies and then colored them with copics. Once everything was adhered to the card I added some wink of stella to the clouds and rainbow, as well as stickles to the stars. Love the sparkle!

DCD- love bunny

Hello all it's past the halfway point of January already! Time is flying by so quickly and it will be Valentines day before we know it. So I'm starting on my Valentine stash with this little card using an adorable bunny from our sponsor.

I printed and colored the image with colored pencils. I used an MFT die to make my top panel. Once all the layers were adhered to the cardbase, I added some hearts and sequins for embellishments!

DCD- Christmas Kiss

Hello all and happy Monday! Today I'm posting my first card for the January challenge over at the Die Cut Diva's. This month our challenge NO SENTIMENT!
Our wonderful sponser this month is Sasayaki Glitter

I know Christmas is over, but it's never to early to start on the cards I need to send out! Besides how could I not use this image. I think this will be a great card for my hubby! ;-)

I started my card by printing and coloring the image. I wanted to keep it pretty simple so I only colored the hat and lights.  Picked some pattern paper to math the copics I used and created a panel. I ran my bottom panel through my Big Kick with an embossing folder. Once everything was adhered I colored over the hat, lights and the girls dress with a Wink of Stella for some sparkle. (Which hopefully you can see a little better in close up below)

DCD- New year!!!!

I can't believe it is already the last day of 2016!!! The year has flown by. I decided to make a few New Year cards to celebrate. A big thank you to our sponsor on the Die Cut Diva's blog this month DiesRUs!!!

For my trio of cards I used the same stamps and dies, I just changed the layout and colors.

I used the Twisted citron and salty ocean distress inks to highlight the numbers. I adhered the panel on foam to the cardbase. I added some wink of stella to the numbers and stars for a little sparkle.

For cards 2 and 3 I used abandoned coral and squeezed lemonade distress inks for my colors. I have wink of stella on the numbers on both cards as well as on the stars.

I used the numbers that were left over from the first two cards and layered them for dimension on the last card.
